After uploading a cryptic photo to his Instagram late last week, Cole Chaney has officially revealed that a new track, “Alone?” will be released tonight.

Cole Chaney shared the first snippet of his new song on Instagram, the official cover art, and a confirmed release date, which is set for tonight. The post follows last week’s teaser, which implied that new music was coming. His original post featured a green stick figure with a hook-like extension from its head, resembling a question mark. The full cover art has now been revealed, showing the head of the figure forming the letter “O” in the word “Alone?” tying the visual teaser directly to the song’s title.

“Alone?” is Chaney’s first new release in nearly three years. He broke out with his 2021 debut album Mercy, which featured fan favorites like “Coleshooter” and “Another Day in the Life.” Since then, his only release has been the OurVinyl Sessions project in 2022. However, Chaney’s musical hiatus hasn’t entirely stopped his momentum. He’s continued to grow his fanbase by touring steadily and earning new listeners while opening for bigger-name acts.  The extended break between releases has likely allowed him to develop material with an even higher caliber of lyrical depth.
