Chris Young has announced that his new song “Double Down” will be released at midnight this Friday, February 2nd.
Young, who was recently arrested in Nashville, is releasing the song to thank fans for their support through the last week. “Thank y’all for all your love and support this past week. It’s meant the world to me. As a thank you, I’m dropping a new song called “Double Down” tonight at midnight!” Young said on his Instagram.
Since his arrest, footage from the altercation has been released. It revealed Chris Young being pushed by a Tennessee Alcohol Beverage Commission Agent before his arrest on Monday, contradicting the officer’s initial claims. After the footage was released, all charges against Young were dropped.
This will be the fifth song from Young’s upcoming 18-track album, Young Love and Saturday Nights. The collection will be available everywhere on May 22nd. The other songs have come out sporadically in the last year. The other tracks include, “Looking for You,” “All Dogs Go to Heaven,” “Right Now,” and the title track to the record.
“Double Down” will be available everywhere tonight (2/2/2024) at midnight.
