Just days after his “Lonely Mountain Town” EP hit streaming, Charles Wesley Godwin announced that he’s hitting the road again by the end of the week.

The West Virginian took to Instagram to announce his “Lonely Mountain Town” tour Monday evening, building upon an already established list of shows announced on Feb. 18. Godwin now has 31 dates planned between now and September, stating in the post to social media that he’s open to adding more should the demand be sufficient enough.

Over a year since his last release, Godwin is finally putting wheels up with new tunes locked and loaded for fans. A workhorse, and most of his latest projects were written and recorded while on the road over the last year.

“Recording these songs while on the road last year was a cathartic experience for me.” Godwin said in his EP announcement, “I hope you enjoy this EP as much as I enjoyed making it.”

Godwin will also perform at the Outlaw Music Festival alongside folk and country legends Bob Dylan and Willie Nelson. Nolan Taylor will open for him for the majority of March, and his April dates will mostly be supporting the Avett Brothers.
