Bailey Zimmerman announced Thursday that he is canceling the UK and Europe leg of his “Different Night Same Rodeo Tour,” sharing the news directly with fans via an Instagram post. His full statement read:
To my fans,
I wanted to let you all know personally that I unfortunately have to cancel my UK/Europe shows.
This was not an easy decision and it kills me to have to cancel because I know how excited everyone is… but right now I need to take this time to focus on important family matters. Everything is okay, it’s just my family needs my attention and that’s what I’ve gotta do.
I will still be playing my shows in North America in August, but after that I will be taking some more time to focus on me, my family, and new music. Once again I’m so sorry to everybody that has waited so long… I hope y’all can understand that my family has to come first.

The affected international dates included a headlining slot at the UK’s Long Road Festival, where Zimmerman had been announced as the Saturday night, August 29th headliner, marking his first UK appearance in more than two years. The “Different Night Same Rodeo Tour,” in support of his second studio album of the same name, began February 19th and had been scheduled to run through a UK/Europe leg into September.
Zimmerman’s live schedule has faced disruptions before this year. In June, a felony warrant was issued for his arrest in New Mexico related to a canceled May 27 performance at Sandia Resort and Casino, with charges tied to an unpaid bar tab and property damage allegations. He is next scheduled to perform August 6 in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, with additional stops in Wisconsin, Missouri and Illinois to follow.
