Frequent collaborators Avery Anna and Sam Barber have announced a new duet, “Fear In God,” to be released tonight. The song marks the third track the pair has officially released together, following “Indigo” and “Restless Mind” on Sam Barber’s debut LP.
The release arrives during an active stretch for Anna. In January, she announced the first leg of her headlining Girl Of Constant Sorrow Tour, an eight-date run beginning March 12th in Cincinnati, Ohio.
The tour follows a series of high-profile moments for the Arizona native, including the critical response to her cover of Ozzy Osbourne’s “No More Tears.” The performance marked a stylistic departure while further elevating her visibility within the broader country and Americana space.
For Sam Barber’s part, he’s quickly ascended as one of the most sought-after young artists in country music, with viral tracks like “Indigo,” “Straight And Narrow,” and “Dancing In the Sky.”
“Fear In God” will be out everywhere tonight.
