The Country Music Association revealed nominees for the 60th Annual CMA Awards Thursday morning on ABC’s Good Morning America, with Ella Langley pacing the field at nine nominations.
Kacey Musgraves and Miranda Lambert follow with five apiece, though neither cracked the Entertainer field. Chris Stapleton and Lainey Wilson each picked up three, while Luke Combs, Cody Johnson, Megan Moroney, Morgan Wallen, and Stephen Wilson Jr. each landed two.
The show returns to Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena on Wednesday, November 18, at 8/7c on ABC and Disney+, with next-day streaming on Hulu. Lainey Wilson returns as host for the third consecutive year, her second straight as solo host, making her the first woman to solo-host the show twice, following Dolly Parton in 1988 and Reba McEntire in 1991.
First held in 1967, the CMA Awards is the longest-running annual music awards program on network television, and winners are determined by more than 7,000 professional voting members of the Country Music Association
