This morning, Zach Top finally posted about his new track, “Good Times & Tan Lines,” released last night, and announcing his sophomore album, Ain’t In It For My Health, which will be out everywhere on August 29th. In an Instagram post, Top shared:

The subtle hints and cryptic announcements are over. Your new favorite summer banger, “Good Times & Tan Lines,” is out now! And if that’s not enough, my second record, ‘Ain’t In It For My Health, will be out on 8/29. You’ll be able to preorder and pre-save it this Friday, 6/13.

Zach Top’s last album, Cold Beer & Country Music, was released in April of last year and included songs like “Sounds Like the Radio,” “Use Me,” and “I Never Lie.” Since its debut, the album has become one of the most celebrated country releases of the 2020s, being compared to records from Keith Whitley, Tracy Lawrence, and Alan Jackson.

Top’s neotraditional country sound follows his debut self-titled album, which was labeled as a bluegrass release. His background in the genre has led to collaborations with artists like Billy Strings, proving that Zach can hold his guitar alongside some of the most skilled musicians in the world. With the community of country music listeners embracing the shift, Zach has the #1 position in Country Central’s fan-voted Power Rankings, where he has remained for eight consecutive months.
