Zach Bryan continues to bless his fans, this time with the surprise release of his EP “Boys of Faith.” Less than a month after his 16-song self-titled album hit streaming platforms, Zach is back with five new ones including features from Noah Kahan and Bon Iver.
On his last full-length, Zach had some massive duets, such as Kacey Musgraves and the Lumineers; he continues the trend of star-studded features by recruiting Noah Kahan and Bon Iver for this EP. Noah and Zach are two of the biggest names in all of music right now, their song ‘Sarah’s Place’ already feels like a fan-favorite.
Zach had been teasing some of the songs on his social media this week, even revealing that he’d been in the studio with Kahan and Iver days ago.
The EP also includes some deeper cuts that fans have long been waiting for. ‘Deep Satin’ has quickly become a fan favorite over the past year as it made its way into his live set.
‘Pain, Sweet Pain’ is another one that fans have been waiting years to be released, and right when it seemed like it wasn’t going to happen, it made its way on the EP. The song has been on Zach Bryan’s YouTube for three years now, so it feels like a real victory for the early Zach Bryan fans to get a recorded version of it.
We saw Zach do a similar thing last year when he released “American Heartbreak” and “Summertime Blues” within a couple of months of each other. He picked up the remaining crumbs he might’ve missed from his album and continues to keep his fans on their toes with surprise releases.
