Wyatt Flores has announced that his latest single, “Don’t Wanna Say Goodnight,” will be released this Friday from his upcoming album. A pre-save link is currently available here.
“My name is Wyatt Flores. I was born and raised on the Oklahoma Plains, and you’re gonna hear that in my music,” Flores said in the announcement. “The songs I write are stories from my life and my home, and I can’t wait to share the first one with you Friday.”
Flores has been teasing new music for a few weeks, and now fans are gearing up for what should be another emotion-packed project. Wyatt Flores took country music by storm in 2022 and 2023 with his projects Half Life and Life Lessons.
Flores is currently on his “Welcome To The Plains” tour, which will run through December 31st. Fans can currently purchase tickets through his website or second-hand ticketing platforms. He’s joined by Jake Kohn, JR Carroll, Evan Honer, Kaitlin Butts, Noeline Hofmann, The Damn Quails, Zandi Holdup, Wyatt Baker, Lance Roark, Bo Staloch, and The Great Divide; support will vary by market.
Since “Please Don’t Go” went viral on TikTok, Wyatt Flores’ career has been on an upward spiral toward stardom. However, it hasn’t always been easy. In June, Flores opened up to CountryCentral about his struggles with mental health and how it’s influenced his music.
He’s also been working on numerous collaborations with Evan Honer and The Castellows. “Sober Sunday” was released on July 26th and instantly became a contender for song of the year amongst many fans. Before “Sober Sunday,” he worked with Jake Kohn on the track “Before I Do,” which was featured on the Twisters soundtrack. Additionally, “Take Me As I Come” was released with Evan Honer in April of this year.
