Country-rock stalwart Warren Zeiders has announced the release of his new single, “Only Bible,” set to drop next Friday, September 12th. The Pennsylvania-born artist, known for his gravelly voice and sad-boy songwriting style, teased the track on TikTok about a week ago, offering fans a glimpse into its deeply personal inspiration.
In his recent post, Zeiders shared a bit on the inspiration behind the song, “I wrote this song after church a couple months back. My pastor finished his sermon by saying, some people may never step foot in a church, open a Bible, or hear Gods word. He said “you might be the only bible someone reads in this life time” And it struck me at how I carry myself day in and day out. I’m not perfect by any means, and I’ve slipped more times than a few, but that perspective has been incredibly impactful on how I’ve been living, so I did what I knew to do and wrote about it.”
Hailing from Hershey, Pennsylvania, Zeiders, 25, rose to fame with his 2021 viral hit “Ride the Lightning” and debut project 717 Tapes. His 2023 single “Pretty Little Poison” became his first #1 on country radio, cementing his status as a rising star. His 20-track double album Relapse, Lies, & Betrayal was released earlier this year, heralded by the hit single “Relapse.” Zeiders is currently on the road on the album’s eponymous tour alongside Chayce Beckham and Dylan Marlowe on select dates.
“Only Bible” will be out everywhere next Friday.
