Since his passing this past week, Toby Keith’s greatest hits compilation Toby Keith: 35 Biggest Hits has re-entered the Billboard 200 chart, quickly ascending to the top spot on the chart. The album has since sold 66,000 units, making it his fifth #1 album. Toby Keith passed away the night of February 5th at the age of 62 due to stomach cancer. Keith was surrounded by his family at the time of his passing.
Keith was rather private about his cancer diagnosis until he told the public in 2022. “Cancer is a roller coaster,” he told KWTV earlier this year. “You just sit here and wait for it to go away. It might never go away.”
