Tim McGraw dropped a new EP, Poet’s Resumé, just months after the release of his sixteenth studio album, Standing Room Only, with the album’s lead single still performing well on the country charts. The surprise EP was released on November 21st and features six brand new tracks through McGraw’s label, Big Machine Records.
The announcement of Poet’s Resumé comes after his single “Standing Room Only” topped the Country Airplay charts. In his Instagram post, McGraw stated, “In the spirit of being thankful, I’m so grateful for all of you and the ways you have supported me, my family, and my music throughout the years. Here’s a little surprise drop of a few songs you have never heard. Enjoy!”
