Thomas Rhett announced on his Instagram that he will release a brand new single, “Beautiful As You,” this Friday, May 10th. “I’m absolutely stoked to kick off this new chapter… my favorite music yet,” Rhett remarked. This is the first music he has released since last September, when he released “Mamaw’s House,” a collaboration with Morgan Wallen.
With each new album he releases, we’ve seen Thomas Rhett go through a series of distinct phases of life. It started in 2013 with his debut album, It Goes Like This, where he began his love songs with hits like the title track. A few years later, he came out with his third project, Life Changes. That’s when he unofficially jumped from “boyfriend country” to “husband country.” Most recently, Where We Started was his best project yet. There is a lot of reflection on his life to that point while also throwing some fun songs.
As we have seen Thomas Rhett grow up first-hand, it is interesting to see what approach he will take with his upcoming record. “Beautiful As You” should be a good sneak peek at what’s to come for the Georgia native.
