It’s no secret that festivals are a major moment for country music throughout the year. With artists from all over the genre coming together for a select few days, they deliver performances that have never been seen before.

However, prices for the events have reached unprecedented levels. In a report published by Vivid Seats, Morgan Wallen’s “Sand in my Boots” festival was ranked as the “Hottest Music Festival,” with the average ticket price on Vivid Seats coming in at $945. The country music equivalent of Coachella, Stagecoach, was listed as the #3 most in-demand event, with the average ticket price being $760.

It’s worth noting that Vivid Seats is mostly made up of a second-hand market with people reselling their tickets for various reasons. They suggest ticketing only by buying from trusted websites that stand behind their tickets with buyer guarantees and are backed by the National Association of Ticket Brokers (NATB).

The report listed the “Country Stampede” festival as the “Best-on-a-Budget” event, with the average price being only 8% of “Sand in my Boots” at $83. They also listed the Montana-based “Under the Big Sky” festival as the top “Up-and-Coming” festival, with ticket prices growing 107% year-over-year, which is the most growth of any other festival on the market.

Over 50 years after its inception, country music’s landmark event, CMA Fest, was dubbed the “Most Buzzworthy” event. The longest-running festival in the genre has seen a spike in demand, with ticket prices increasing 227% compared to last year.
