Post Malone has posted a snippet of a song with him and Morgan Wallen to his Instagram. This comes a little more than a month after he shared a clip of a song with Luke Combs on his Instagram.
Even though nothing has been made official, Post Malone’s transition to the country is looking more evident after sharing clips of songs with two of the biggest names in country music.
Pictures of Post Malone and Luke Combs began circulating social media late Tuesday night. This is not the first time he’s been seen in the studio with country stars though. Photos with ERNEST and Brad Paisley have also been posted in the past.
Especially with this latest tease, all signs are pointing toward a full country album by Post Malone. Ever since he covered hits of Brad Paisley and Sturgill Simpson in March 2021, fans have been very vocal calling for this project to come to fruition.
He’s also slated to perform at Stagecoach in April in which he’ll be performing a set of exclusively country covers.
Before the two song snippets were posted, Post Malone made an appearance at the CMA Awards singing “Pickup Man” by Joe Diffie alongside Morgan Wallen. The song was then posted to Spotify as part of the latest “Hixtape” project making it his first official country song on streaming services.
Both Morgan Wallen and Luke Combs are coming off wildly successful years in 2023 spearheading country music’s thrust into the mainstream. Adding songs with Post Malone to their catalog will only deepen the case of them being some of the genre’s best artists of all time as they bend the mold of country music.
