This week in country music saw Flatland Cavalry release their fourth studio album and first in two years, Wandering Star. The thirteen-track album has been highly anticipated by fans of the Texas group and has featured a few singles that were released throughout the summer.

Ernest is back with his new single, “Kiss of Death.” This is Ernest’s first new release since May when he released “Takes After You.” Ernest just kicked off his “This Fire” Tour with special guests Jake Worthington, John Morgan, and Cody Lohden. Ernest is supporting Morgan Wallen’s One Night at a Time Tour.

Dylan Marlowe and Dylan Scott teamed up with a new single, “Boys Back Home.” Marlowe announced the first leg of his “Dirt Road When I Die” Tour and is currently serving as support on HARDY’S “the mockingbird & THE CROW” Fall Tour. Both Dylans are slowly starting to solidify themselves in country music as they each have a few successful hits now.

Up-and-coming star, Dylan Gossett released his brand new EP No Better Time. Gossett has taken the world by storm this year with hit singles like, “Beneath Oak Trees.” His authentic voice has grabbed the attention of country music fans all over the country yet he still remains under the radar. His new EP is a great opportunity to really put his name on the map.

Lady A released their second single in just over a month, this time with “A Love Song.” Lady A is finally starting to consistently release music again meaning there could be another studio album on the way. The band hasn’t released a full studio album in a couple of years now as they have stayed pretty quiet. It looks like they are starting to ramp back up.

Jon Pardi and Maddie & Tae both took an interesting approach into the Halloweekend by releasing Christmas albums. Jon Pardi released a new single with Luke Bryan last week titled “Cowboys and Plowboys.” Maddie & Tae’s most recent single came back in June of 2023. While the United States is prepping for Spooky Season, Jon Pardi and Maddie & Tae are looking a couple of months into the future.
