This week saw Sam Hunt making his return to music with the release of his single “Came The Closet.” This is Hunt’s first release since the song “Women In My Life” was released in May. Hunt also announced a new tour this week with support from Brett Young and Lily Rose. 

Sierra Ferrell’s awaited “Fox Hunt” was also released this week making it her first release since she was featured on Zach Bryan’s song “Holy Roller” from his self-titled album. Ferrell is blown up in recent history developing herself as one of the most iconic women in the modern bluegrass scene.

The Yellowstone star, Luke Grimes put out his first EP this week, Pain Pills or Pews. Signed to UMG Nashville, Grimes released six singles before the project was released, all of which were well-received by critics. In September, Grimes announced his tour promoting the EP will be kicking off November 9th in Columbus, Ohio. 

Cody Jinks also released a new song, “Outlaws and Mustangs”. Jinks has been at the top of the mountain of blending blues and country music. His 2021 album, Mercy was a unique blend of jazz, folk, blues, and country music being tied together with this stellar voice. 

Texas Honkytonk star Randall King released his song, “Hang of Hangin’ On”. This release is the fifth single off his newly announced album, In The Neon. The album was released on his Instagram with a set release date of January 26, 2024. Since his debut, self-titled album in 2018, Randall King has been known for his demanding baritone voice drawing numerous comparisons to George Strait

Ahead of their upcoming album, The Wilder Blue put out a song with indie superstar Brent Cobb. A band with roots in lots of different sub-genres, their last two albums have been critically acclaimed across the country’s music industry. With plans to go on the road this summer with Luke Combs, they aim for a touring season to truly put their name on the map.
