This evening, Muscadine Bloodline took to social media to announce the release of a new single, set to drop this weekend, featuring a surprise collaborator. In their Instagram post, the duo teased:
“Next Friday the 10th, Putting out a new song, and sometimes the feature leaves the porch light on.”
The caption seemingly points to Josh Meloy as the feature for the song, hinting at his hit song “Porch Light.” This announcement comes shortly after the band shared their plans for 2025 in another instagram post. Along with the new single, the duo revealed that part two of their album The Coastal Plain is scheduled to be released early this year, as well as several tours and another full album to round out the year.
Regarding the continuation of The Coastal Plain, the duo explained:
“When it came to the concept of The Coastal Plain, we couldn’t fit all the stories and ideas into just… ONE record.” They continued, “Rather than a deluxe edition or a collection of songs that ‘didn’t make the cut, we consider this an evolution of The Coastal Plain— what was left behind from the place where we spent 18 years of our lives.”
Between their two projects and more touring, 2025 is looking big for Muscadine Bloodline as they continue to expand their audience.
