Muscadine Bloodline, the acclaimed country music duo known for their soulful, roots-driven sound, has just announced the release of their highly anticipated fourth studio album, “The Coastal Plain” on August 16th. To celebrate the new music, the duo has also revealed an extensive tour that will take them across the United States throughout the summer and fall.
“The Coastal Plain” is set to showcase the band’s evolution as artists, with a collection of songs that delve deep into the heart and soul of their Southern heritage. Gritty southern-rock tunes like “Earl Byrd From Mexia” and “Weyerhaeuser Land” paint vivid pictures of life down in Alabama, while fun sing-alongs like “Mary Riley” and “Low Hanging Fruit” see the duo leaning into their skills as creative storytellers. The album promises to be a rich tapestry of those stories and melodies that fans have come to love from the duo, with a few surprises that will push the boundaries of their sound.
The tour, which kicks off on June 14 in Los Angeles, CA, and wraps up on November 2 in Flagstaff, AZ, will feature stops in a variety of cities, from the coastal Isle of Palms, SC, to the heartland of Minneapolis, MN, and down to the sunny shores of Tampa, FL. With over 30 dates, the tour will give fans across the country the opportunity to experience Muscadine Bloodline at their dynamic live show and hear new material from “The Coastal Plain” in a live setting.
For almost a decade now, Gary Stanton and Charlie Muncaster has been praised for their ability to blend traditional country sounds with 21st century red dirt storytelling, and “The Coastal Plain” is expected to continue that tradition while showcasing the duo’s growth as songwriters and performers.
The Coastal Plain will be out everywhere on August 16th. For more information, visit Muscadine Bloodline’s official website or follow them on social media.
