After a long litany of one-off singles, we now know that Morgan Wallen’s fourth album will be called I’m The Problem. Its title track will be available everywhere on January 31st. The track was written by Wallen, Ernest Keith Smith, Ryan Vojtesak, Grady Block, and Jamie McLaughlin and produced by Joey Moi and Charlie Handsome. Fans can pre-save the song here.
Wallen is coming off one of the biggest years in country music of all time, with his record-breaking tour and previous album doing historic numbers. His third LP, One Thing At A Time, had a monstrous 36 songs, and nearly all the tracks reached over 50 million streams on Spotify.
Additionally, he just announced his newest tour, the “I’m The Problem Tour.” “We made so many lifelong memories on the One Night at A Time World Tour, and I cannot begin to express how grateful I am for my fans and the way they showed up each night,” reflects Wallen. “As I’ve been working on new music, it has inspired me to get back on the road and share these new songs with each of you on the I’m The Problem Tour. See y’all there.”
This newest single follows the release of his last song, “Smile,” which was released on New Year’s Eve, 2024. The song immediately shot to the top of the charts, reaching #4 on the Billboard Hot 100. In addition to the other singles Wallen has launched, “Lies, Lies, Lies” accounted for his 16th #1 song on country radio, and “Love Somebody” claimed the top spot on the Billboard Hot 100. This string of success allowed Wallen to be the first artist to have three singles each simultaneously sit atop the Billboard Hot 100 and Hot Country Songs charts.
