Midland has announced on its Instagram that it will release its brand new song, “Old Fashioned Feeling,” on Wednesday, May 22nd.
“It’s as smooth as the drink named after, smoky as your favorite bar. It’s blue and comforting simultaneously,” the group said in their announcement. It sounds like they will continue with the classic Texas country sound their fans have fallen in love with. This track marks their first release since December of 2023, when they dropped their single, “Up In Texas.”
Midland will also play a CMA Fest Showcase at Fanfair X, sponsored by Country Central. They have always charmed audiences with their neo-traditional sound. They seemed to be one of the first groups to re-popularize the 90s sound as they also mixed in a bit of blues.
