Megan Moroney announced on her social media that she will be releasing a new song, “28th of June” next Friday, March 22nd.
The unreleased track has quickly become a fan favorite as Moroney has been teasing it on her social media. Based on what we’ve heard, it seems like Moroney will be living up to her “emo cowgirl” persona once again. This track follows her most recent release, “No Caller ID” which debuted at #58 on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart.

Moroney has established herself as one of the dominant faces of country music, as she and Lainey Wilson have led the way into the 2020s has the format’s new leading ladies. She originally blew up on TikTok thanks to hit songs “Tennessee Orange” and “Hair Salon,” and since then she’s had a quick rise to country music superstardom. TikTok and other social media platforms have continued to help her through her career with “28th of June” already seeing plenty of buzz before its release.
