Luke Combs announced on his Instagram story that fan-favorite song “Where The Wild Things Are” will be his next single on country radio set to impact on October 16th. The track was an absolute standout from Combs’ recent Gettin’ Old album and is sure to see some radio success.

Combs looks to pick up his 18th career number-one at country radio and his third from this album alone. ‘Fast Car’ and ‘Love You Anyway’ were the two other songs from the LP to reach the achievement.

All 17 of Combs’ previous singles have reached number one at country radio, and it would not be shocking if he continues his streak with ‘Where the Wild Things Are.’

Luke Combs released his album back in March of 2023 and it has been one of the most successful albums of his career. Combs is nominated for four awards at this year’s CMAs including, Entertainer of the Year, Album of the Year, Single of the Year (Fast Car), and Male Vocalist of the Year.

‘Fast Car’ spent some time at the top of the Billboard Hot 100 earlier this year adding to the success story of 2023 for Combs.

‘Where The Wild Things Are’ has a legitimate case at being one of Combs’s most successful singles yet and is sure to do well at country radio.
