Luke Combs and Jon Bellion have just announced their upcoming collaboration, “Why,” set to release this Friday, May 23nd.
This afternoon, a teaser posted to Instagram features a clip of the two artists performing the track together in a high-energy, duet-style setting. Following his 2024 album, Father and Sons, Combs’ third release will follow his collaborations with Bailey Zimmerman and Post Malone.
With so many hits, such as “When It Rains It Pours,” and “Beer Never Broke My Heart”, Luke Combs remains one of the biggest names in country music. On the other hand, Bellion has credits on songs from Justin Bieber and Eminem, along with success in his own solo career. With a rich background in songwriting, paired with his powerful voice, the “All Time Low” singer holds plenty of potential to be the perfect partner in this country-crossover.
Combs is currently on his “Live in 2025” tour, wrapping up this October, mostly comprim. This past week, he made a rare appearance on Instagram to tease what his next few months have in store, “Plus, we’ve got a big tour coming next year. I just finalized a lot of the details for that over the past week or so.”
“New record coming soon, new tour coming up—I’m just excited, man. I’m back, doing my thing, and obviously still spending time at home. I wanted to reconnect with you all, just me talking to you like I used to. I miss doing this kind of stuff.”
“WHY” will be out everywhere this Friday.
