Luke Combs announced on his Instagram he will be releasing his new song, “Ain’t No Love in Oklahoma,” on Thursday, May 16th at 8 AM ET. It was written for and will be featured in the upcoming movie “Twisters” starring Glen Powell.
He also announced that it would be his next single to country radio. After “Where The Wild Things Are” went #1 at radio, Combs has 18 straight to start his career and is looking to pick up 19 with “Ain’t No Love in Oklahoma.”
With such an impressive streak, seeing him put it on the line with a song for a movie is interesting. Regardless, 18 straight proves why Combs is one of the best and he and his team know what will be a radio success. It won’t be shocking to see his next single become another number-one.
Combs is currently in the middle of his “Growin’ Up and Gettin’ Old” stadium tour that runs through the summer before wrapping up in August. Tickets are available on his website.
