Lainey Wilson announced on her Instagram that she will release her brand new song “Hang Tight Honey” on Monday, May 13th.
“Hang Tight Honey” will be the second track released from her upcoming album Whirlwind, which will be out on August 23rd. It will be Wilson’s first album since her wildly successful record, Bell Bottom Country, which came out in 2022. That album helped her walk away happy from every significant country award show last year. Some awards included Best Country Album at the Grammy’s and the most prestigious award in country music, Entertainer of the Year, which she won at the CMAs last November.
Fans can catch her electrifying performance on her “Country’s Cool Again,” which kicks off on May 31st. The tour will run through the fall before it ends in her home state of Louisiana. Tickets are available on her website. Wilson will also perform at the upcoming Academy of Country Music Awards (ACM) in Frisco, TX, later this month.
Wilson also recently announced that she will be the latest country star to open a bar on Nashville’s iconic Broadway Street in downtown Nashville. It will replace FGL House, which closed just a few weeks ago. There have yet to be any details about the restaurant’s opening.
“Hang Tight Honey” will be available everywhere on May 13th.
