Koe Wetzel Announces New Album “9 Lives”

9 Lives

Koe Wetzel has announced that his new album, 9 Lives, will be available on July 19th. Fans can pre-save the project here.

Most of the album will be produced by Gabe Simon (Noah Kahan Stick Season) and other frequent collaborators who can help blend Wetzel’s modern rock and country style with some grunge sprinkled in.

“I want fans to know that there’s a different side of me, not just the sex, drugs, and rock & roll Koe that they may have heard about online,” Wetzel said in a press release. “I’ve grown up a little bit. I’m no longer the 20-year-old kid who’s partying down and getting thrown in jail all the time. 9 Lives reveals a vulnerable side that people may not be used to hearing.”

Prior to the full album, Wetzel released singles “Damn Near Normal” and “9 Lives (Black Cat).” Highlighting the album’s multi-personality approach, Wetzel starred in a short on Instagram, portraying different sides of his personality to announce the album.

Koe Wetzel will also be hitting the road this summer on the “Damn Near Normal” tour. Kicking off July 27th, the world tour will make stops all across the United States and into Europe. Fans can purchase tickets through the links on his website or second-hand ticketing platforms.
