Kenny Chesney has announced his new song “Take Her Home” will be available tonight at midnight on all streaming platforms.
The announcement comes a night after his tribute performance to Jimmy Buffett on the CMA’s and days after his stadium tour with Zac Brown Band will take place during the summer of 2024.
“This song is everything life is made of in less than four minutes. It’s true, honest, and all the stuff that’s easy to forget,” Chesney said in his announcement on Instagram.
Ever since his debut album In My Wildest Dreams in 1994, Chesney has been atop the pyramid in the “beach country” sub-genre. After taking the mantle from the late Jimmy Buffett, he and the Zac Brown Band have led the way throughout the early 2000s and 2010s cultivating their iconic heavy-on-the-heart and soft-on-the-ears beach vibes.
