Grammy-winning country-pop artist Kacey Musgraves will release her highly-anticipated fifth studio album “Deeper Well” on March 15th. The announcement comes alongside the release of the album’s title track, “Deeper Well,” which offers a glimpse into the back-to-basics, acoustic approach she’s taking with this record. Since the release of her 2018 cross-over smash LP “Golden Hour,” Kacey has been tough to categorize. “star-crossed” saw strong push towards straight-ahead pop music, though recent collaborations with Zach Bryan and Noah Kahan hint that she may not be straying away from country and singer-songwriter music altogether.
Ahead of the song’s release, Kacey tweeted the lyrics “I’m saying goodbye to the people that I feel are real good at wasting my time. No regrets, baby, I just think that maybe you go your way and I’ll go mine.”
Known for her ability to seamlessly blend elements of country, pop, and folk, Kacey Musgraves has carved out a unique space in the music industry. Her previous albums, including the critically acclaimed “Golden Hour,” have earned her widespread acclaim and a dedicated fanbase. Most recently, Kacey won a Grammy Award for Vocal Group/Duo Country Song alongside Zach Bryan for their hit collab “I Remember Everything.”
