Country Central is proud to announce the 2024 “Country Madness” bracket tournament. This year, the bracket is composed of the 50 CC50 artists and 14 “wildcards” filling out the initial field of 64. Seeding is based on positions from the March CC50 voting.
Voting will take place on Country Central’s Instagram stories every Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday. Round one starts March 17th and the final round of voting will wrap up March 28th as a winner will be crowned.
In 2023’s inaugural Country Madness bracket tournament, Morgan Wallen faced off against Zach Bryan in the final round with Wallen taking home the crown. Last year’s field compared to this year may look a bit different to longtime followers. Country Central feels that CC50 positions are a more accurate representation of fan opinions and invite more entertaining match-ups than a Billboard.
Once again there will be four divisions made up of 14 artists. Zach Byran, Luke Combs, Cody Johnson, and Morgan Wallen all claim the top seeds in their respective divisions. The bottom 16 positions were based on high performances in March’s CC50 Wildcard voting.
