HARDY released a new single, “QUIT!!” at midnight on January 12th. This comes the day after his highly anticipated short film “becoming THE CROW” on his YouTube. This will be HARDY’s first solo release since his the mockingbird & THE CROW project was released on January 20th of last year.
The song reflects on his career path and how he got to where he is today. It looks at the chip on his shoulder created by someone writing “quit” on a napkin and putting it in his tip jar. Since then, HARDY has been inspired to prove the haters wrong and has made himself one of the biggest names in country music.
HARDY’s new song kind of shows what led him to become “the CROW” which has been a common thing for the country-rock artist. He fully embraced his rock music with the crow half of his record. That side of him is a lot more edgy and rough around the edges.
While this was his first solo release in some time he has been featured in other projects. One of which is HIXTAPE Vol. 3: Difftape where he joins Morgan Wallen and the late Joe Diffie for a remake of the classic hit, “John Deere Green.”
The non-traditional artist has multiple festivals lined up for 2024 and it’s safe to assume a headlining tour is on the way as well. HARDY has officially kicked off his year and looks to have an even bigger one than he did in 2023.
