George Strait Plots New Concert in College Station, Texas

George Strait has announced his only show taking place in the state of Texas this year will be at Kyle Field, home of Texas A&M football, on June 15. This “in the round” performance will feature Parker McCollum and Catie Offerman.

Tickets to the Kyle Field performance go on sale to the general public Thursday, March 28, at 10 a.m. CT via TheKingAtKyle.com. American Express Card Members can purchase tickets before the general public beginning March 22 at 10 a.m. CT through March 27 at 10 p.m. CT.

This comes after it was announced that Strait will be teaming up again with Chris Stapleton on a series of stadium shows for 2024. New Jersey’s MetLife Stadium, Chicago’s Soldier Field, Las Vegas’ Allegiant Stadium, and more. Strait and Stapleton will also be joined by Little Big Town who accompanied them on past stadium shows as well.

Since his 2014 “Cowboy Rides Away” tour, Strait’s appearances have been far few outside of his Las Vegas Residency, and appearances at the Houston Rodeo and Austin City Limits festival. Nonetheless, wherever he performs, George Strait will always attract crowds in historic numbers as he’s widely regarded as “The King of Country Music” by fans across all generations.
