George Strait, known for his chart-topping hits like “Check Yes or No” and “Ocean Front Property,” has long been a staple in country music, earning him the nickname “King of Country.” Chris Stapleton, with his soulful voice and legendary hits like “Tennessee Whiskey,” has risen to prominence, bridging the gap between traditional and modern country sounds. Just last Fall, the pair collaborated together on George Strait’s Cowboys & Dreamers LP on the song “Honky Tonk Hall of Fame.”
