Gavin Adcock is set to drop his new single, “Morning Bail,” on Friday, May 30th, further cementing his reputation for raw, authentic country music. The 26-year-old Georgia native shared a snippet of the track on social media, with lyrics that blend gritty storytelling and heartbreak, reflecting his recent arrest in Tennessee while amplifying his outlaw persona.

The snippet of “Morning Bail” captures Adcock’s trademark unpolished style: “Hey mister, can I get a copy of the mug shot? / Last thing I remember, I forgot to eat dinner / Then I started sippin’ liquor and it all went dark.” Lines like “Ever since you’re leavin’ I’ve been bottom barrel sinkin’ / Woke up in a cell, blew my money at the bar / Now I can’t make mornin’ bail” showcase his knack for turning personal struggles into relatable anthems. The song follows the success of his 2024 album Actin’ Up Again, which became the year’s most-streamed country debut with over 350 million streams.

Adcock’s music, infused with traditional country, grunge, and blues, has earned him 4.1 million monthly Spotify listeners and a devoted “Unlucky Strikes” fanbase. His ongoing Need To tour, including sold-out shows and a CMA Fest performance on June 5th, highlights his stage presence, marked by beer-shotgunning and crowd-surfing.

On May 21st, Adcock was arrested for reckless driving and an open container violation, released after posting a $1,000 bond. While “Morning Bail” nods to this incident, his tour remains on track.

“Morning Bail” will be out everywhere on Friday.
