Eric Church has revealed plans for a 19-show residency at his newly minted restaurant and bar, called Chief’s, located at 200 Broadway in downtown Nashville. Partnering with Ben Weprin, CEO of Adventurous Journey’s Capital Partners, Church designed Chief’s to include a two-story live music venue known as “The Neon Steeple.”
Dubbed “Eric Church: To Beat The Devil,” the residency will kick off with a grand opening on Friday, April 5, 2024, marking the beginning of a series of 19 exclusive shows at The Neon Steeple right in the heart of Chief’s. These performances promise to be an extremely unique experience for fans, with Church teasing special renditions of his songs exclusively for the Chief’s audience.
Speaking directly to his loyal fan base, known as the Church Choir, Church expressed his excitement about this new venture, sharing, “These shows at Chief’s will be one of a kind, only for Chief’s and with some songs that will only ever be performed during these shows. It’s the most unique show I’ll probably ever do, and I’m excited to enjoy this chapter of what Chief’s will be.”
To combat scalping and ensure fairness for fans, Eric Church is implementing a different ticketing approach. Initially, tickets will be exclusively available to premium Church Choir members through a sign-up system starting on March 12. The sign-up period will close on March 17 at 11:59 p.m. CT, followed by the Church Choir presale on March 20 at 10:00 a.m. CT. Should any tickets remain, a public on-sale will commence on March 22 at 10:00 a.m. CT.
All tickets for the residency are non-transferable, with strict policies in place to prevent name changes on orders. Additionally, seats will be reserved, with prices ranging from $99 to $499, excluding any additional ticketing fees. Notably, a portion of proceeds from every ticket sold will benefit Church’s non-profit organization, Chief Cares.

Eric Church, together with Ben Weprin, founder and CEO of Adventurous Journey’s (“AJ”) Capital Partners, intentionally designed his six-story downtown Nashville establishment Chief’s, located at 200 Broadway, to accommodate a two-story live music venue when renovating the 19,350 SF building. Named “The Neon Steeple,” this venue is aimed in part to house intimate pop-up shows from the singer/songwriter/entertainer. On the heels of giving the building to his fans last week, Church shared the details of Chief’s grand opening directly with the Church Choir this morning (March 12), noting that he’ll kick the celebrations off with a 19-show Eric Church: To Beat The Devil residency run at The Neon Steeple in Chief’s beginning April 5, 2024.
“These shows at Chief’s will be one of a kind, only for Chief’s and with some songs that will only ever be performed during these shows,” says Church. “It’s the most unique show I’ll probably ever do, and I’m excited to enjoy this chapter of what Chief’s will be.”
