Corey Kent has announced that his next single, titled “This Heart,” will officially drop on Friday, January 26th. The news comes just days after the “Wild As Her” singer dropped a surprise nine-song acoustic album called ‘23 to cap off the year.
Over the past few months, “This Heart” has been teased a handful of times on Kent’s social media, with the first snippet popping up back in August. It garnered more attention when Kent filmed an impromptu music video for the chorus of the track, which he used to promote a pre-save link for the song’s inevitable release. According to Kent’s post announcing the song’s release date, it’s his most pre-saved song to date.
Kent is coming off a solid run in 2023, with the success of his single “Something’s Gonna Kill Me” off the album Blacktop. Whether he can repeat that success with “This Heart” has yet to be seen, but if pre-saves are as high as he claims, it might have a fighter’s chance of gaining some momentum.
