Conner Smith announced on his social media that he will be the latest artist to release a song for Twisters: The Album.“Steal My Thunder” will be a duet with Tucker Wetmore and available everywhere this Wednesday, July 10th.
This will be Wetmore’s second appearance on the album as he released his song, “Already Had It,” back on June 7th. They join artists like Tyler Childers, Lainey Wilson, and Luke Combs, who have already released songs for the movie.
“Twisters” has been one of the most anticipated moves of the year, due in large part to its star-studded country music soundtrack. The album is not only stacked with star power, but also features dozens of original songs released specifically for the film; altogether, this bombastic release a testament to the creativity and talent of the artists involved.
This is Conner Smith’s first release since his debut album, Smoky Mountains, was released in January. The record contains some of the hits that earned him the nomination for New Male Artist at the 2024 ACM Awards, such as “I Hate Alabama” and “Creek Will Rise.” Smith is also gearing up for his “The Storyteller” tour this fall and will play at various festivals throughout the summer; for more information about tickets, visit his website.
Twisters: The Album isn’t just setting up to be one of the best soundtracks of the year but it is looking to be one of the best overall albums.
“Steal My Thunder” will be available everywhere on July 10th.
