Conner Smith has announced on Instagram that his debut album Smoky Mountains will be available on January 26th. The title track will also be available on all streaming platforms this Friday, November 4th.
Smith announced his “Creek Will Rise” Tour which will run through the end of 2023 and into January of 2024. After touring with Thomas Rhett and Luke Bryan in the past, he’s hoping that this album and tour will put him on the map as one of the premiere acts in country music.
His debut EP was released in January of 2022 and he’s been riding monstrous momentum ever since his song “I Hate Alabama” went viral on TikTok. Smith then went on to release a series of singles including a cover of “Feather Indians” by Tyler Childers. His cover was met with some backlash from purists but many appreciated his contemporary rendition. The namesake for his tour, “Creek Will Rise” has been met with so much positive feedback it’s been followed up with an acoustic and live re-release of the song.
