With Cody Johnson’s new album Leather on the horizon, he gave fans a sneak peek of what’s coming by announcing his tracklist on Instagram.
Leather will feature two features from both Jelly Roll and Brooks and Dunn. Jelly Roll seems to be a hot name that country stars have been collaborating with; other singers like Dustin Lynch and Lainey Wilson have recently put out singles with him as well. It is safe to say that Cody Johnson fans will be all over the song with Brooks and Dunn as they have a very similar style of country music.
Cody Johnson was a part of Brooks and Dunn’s Reboot album back in 2019, where he was featured on a remastered version of “Red Dirt Road.”
Johnson has already released four of the 12 tracks featured on the album including “The Painter”, “Work Boots”, “Watching My Old Flame”, and “That’s Texas.” “That’s Texas” was released this Friday, October 3rd, shortly before the tracklist announcement.
Cody Johnson has had fans looking forward to the album for some time now and the tracklist takes fans one step closer to the release. Leather will be available everywhere on November 3rd.
