Country music powerhouse Cody Johnson has announced his Leather Deluxe Tour in support of his forthcoming deluxe version of the album of the same name. The tour, which kicks off in January 2024, promises fans a thrilling live experience with stops across the U.S., U.K., and Australia, showcasing Johnson’s signature blend of traditional country and contemporary flair.
Set to feature 13 brand-new tracks, the deluxe edition of Leather expands on Johnson’s acclaimed 2023 release, and is slated for release on November 1st. Among the standout new offerings is his new duet with seven-time Grammy winner Carrie Underwood, titled “I’m Gonna Love You.” The song, which was recently released as a single, has already started gaining traction on streaming platforms, with fans and critics alike praising the heartfelt vocals and chemistry between the two country stars.
Johnson’s recent success on country radio has also added to the momentum heading into 2024. His single “The Painter” became a massive hit, reaching the top 5 on the Billboard Country Airplay chart and earning widespread praise for its relatable lyrics and powerful delivery. Following that, “Dirt Cheap,” another standout track from Leather, also found significant radio success, solidifying Johnson’s presence on the airwaves. With back-to-back hits two albums in a row, Johnson has proven that he’s not only a favorite among live audiences but also a dominant force in country radio.
