Chris Stapleton just dropped a new track, “Bad As I Used To Be,” set to appear on F1® THE ALBUM, the official soundtrack for the upcoming Formula 1 film. Hitting theaters June 27th, the movie comes from the director of Top Gun: Maverick and stars Brad Pitt in a high-octane story centered around the world of F1 racing.
The new song is Chris’s first solo release since his album Higher from 2023. There are currently no known plans for other new music. Stapleton is currently on tour, wrapping up in October. “Bad As I Used To Be” marks Chris Stapleton’s first solo release since his 2023 album Higher. While there’s no word yet on additional new music in the works yet, Stapleton is currently still on tour, with dates scheduled through the fall.
Earlier this month, Chris Stapleton took home the prize for Male Artist of the Year at the 60th Annual ACM Awards, adding yet another win to his already stacked resume.
