Chris Stapleton has released a new song “It Takes a Woman” as his latest single. This is Stapleton’s third single ahead of his upcoming album Higher which will be released November 10th. This will be his fourth studio album.
Stapleton is currently on the road during his “All American Road Show” tour and just announced a European leg of the tour. He’s also got a slew of stadium shows with George Strait and Little Big Town coming up to round out his monstrous year. Stapleton kicked off the year performing the national anthem at Super Bowl LVII eventually releasing his rendition to streaming services.
Ever since Stapleton broke onto the scene in 2015 with his debut album, Traveler, he’s been one of the premier acts out of Nashville. Even before he was given his chance as a solo artist, he was going around Nashville as one of the top songwriters in the game.
He’s also never been one to shy away from exploring his musical abilities and diversifying the genre. From collaborating with the likes of Taylor Swift, Justin Timberlake, and P!nk he’s been putting himself out there for the world to see. He’s also been given the privilege to contribute on The Metallica Blacklist tribute project putting his spin on the classic “Nothing Else Matters.”
Stapleton is one of the genre’s most decorated singers with eight Grammys, and 15 CMA and ACM awards. At the 58th ACM Awards, he was awarded Entertainer of the Year and the Male Vocalist of the Year, his sixth time winning this award. He’s also earned numerous RIAA Platinum certifications for his albums through the years
