Bailey Zimmerman Announces New Single “Holding On”

Bailey Zimmerman announced his newest single on social media Friday night, titled “Holding On.” The announcement accompanied a snippet of the new track, with Zimmerman detailing the track’s assumed subject matter in the caption of his post. “Hoping this song reminds you to keep going through the tough times,” Zimmerman said via Instagram, “DON’T GIVE UP. KEEP GOING. KEEP GOING.”

While no full-length project has formally been announced by the 24-year-old yet, “Holding On” will mark the third single release since his last LP, “Religiously: The Album.” His previous release, “New To Country,” marks a stark difference in tone if the two songs land on the same tracklist somewhere down the line.

The Illinois native exploded on the country scene in 2021 when he saw viral success on TikTok and soon after churned out his record-breaking single “Rock and a Hard Place.” The song sat comfortably atop the Billboard charts in country radio in 2022, solidifying him as a viable artist in the space and one of the most exciting new acts of recent years.

Zimmerman is playing a number of shows through October, with some festival dates peppered throughout his calendar in the months before that. His festival schedule includes appearances alongside and supporting heavy hitters such as Morgan Wallen, Eric Church, Luke Bryan, and Thomas Rhett.
