About Us

Country Central: a brand made by music fans, for music fans.

First and foremost, our opinions are honest and they are our own. We don’t waste time with mindless, gushy platitudes or empty, elitist criticism that doesn’t mean anything. Recognizing that country music is an incredibly diverse format, sonically and geographically, we don’t confine our coverage to one musical “scene.” We believe that in the streaming era, fans deserve better than to be force-fed one particular sound or style. Rather, we keep our fingers on the pulse of what our audience really cares about, whether it’s happening in Nashville, Appalachia, Texas, or anywhere else.

We take pride in being accessible to our audience, giving them an open forum to make their voices heard in the form of “hot takes,” as well as actively engaging with our following every day. We listen to them when it comes to the content they do and don’t enjoy. Even more, we bring them closer to their favorite artists by asking the questions that fans are really interested in. When we do reviews and interviews, we aren’t just trying to build good faith in the industry; we want to create content that the typical fan would be really interested in.
